National Law Day that is also known as Samvidhan Divas or the Constitution Day that is observed every year in India on 26 November as it is the anniversary of the adoption by the Indian Constituent Assembly in 1949 of the Constitution of India.

History of National Law Day

National Law Day was declared by the Supreme Court Bar Association exactly after thirty years of 26 November 1949. Specifically, this day marks special importance for the people of the legal fraternity. Law Day pays gratitude and honors the 207 eminent members of the Constituent Assembly who have contributed to the framing of the Constitution of India.
